  1. Turbo Costs (Labor / Supporting Mods)

I've had a total of three top mount turbo kits on my mustangs. Two from hellion, another from HPP racing. The boost works system is by far a superior setup in design, quality, and performance. Less BS piping, none of the heat issues from the turbo sitting in the engine bay, and the turbo's...
  2. Boost Works 1200hp entry level twin turbo kit? Starting around $6k!

All i can say is this.... I had a top mount 62mm precision setup, and went to the BW low mount with 62mm comps and my car hits and comes on much harder.
  3. Considering a switch from my new F1A to LPF or Boost Works

Yeah those lpf's are nice kits, now that boost works has their "stock manifold" kits I would chose theirs over LPF's. I don't like the adapter LPF uses, where the Boost Works kit doesn't use an adapter. Turbo's hang in the car higher.
  4. Considering a switch from my new F1A to LPF or Boost Works

All my belt issue horror stories are back before then. The centri kits have come a long ways from the early 2000's. With that said, I would go low mount turbo.
  5. any TT s550's on 93 and meth?

    6" before the throttle body
  6. any TT s550's on 93 and meth?

I have a dual nozel setup. Can't remember the gph at the moment, I want to say they are each 16gph or 19gph. Pretty sure they were 16 because if I went to the dual 19gph, I needed a twin pump setup. I shoot for a higher 49/51 meth/water mix, but i'm sure it closer to 40/60 because I error more...
  7. any TT s550's on 93 and meth?

I run my water meth setup as a IAT cooler only. At 20+psi of boost i was seeing real high IAT's very quickly. Now I can watch it drop below ambient during a run. I have my sensor divorced and installed at the very back of my intake so I should in theory see the hottest temps.
  8. Paxton Pulley Down

Depends on a lot of factors... I have seen a turbo race car on C16 gain 300rwhp under the curve when they converted over to kroger E-85.
  9. Boost Works, Aiming for 2500hp and 280mph Standing Mile.

Need to put fire suppression system on that car... I know I am on my 14.
  10. Boost Works, Aiming for 2500hp and 280mph Standing Mile.

I have most everything else. The problem is I haven't found an off the shelf suit that fits me. I'm 6'5" and a longer upper body. The boys get squished before the suit goes over my shoulders on all I've tried.
  11. Boostworks Twin 62mm installed!!

Yeah that Corsa extreme sounds bad ass with yalls kit, really hear the turbos. I like the quietness of my magnaflow street, but I don't hear the turbo with them:(
  12. Boost Works, Aiming for 2500hp and 280mph Standing Mile.

LOL i am? I was planning on coming out and hanging out saturday-sunday. Wasn't planning on bringing a car. I need to get me a full suit though, I'm not sure how long I can get away throwing someone elses suit in for tech, then just wearing my fire jacket, gloves, and jeans lol
  13. Boost Works, Aiming for 2500hp and 280mph Standing Mile.

well first it needs injectors and a tune! then head gaskets or replace that stupid sleeved block done by the shady shop:doh:
  14. Boost Works, Aiming for 2500hp and 280mph Standing Mile.

So can I drive the car, i got my unlimited license :)
  15. Boost Works 1200hp entry level twin turbo kit? Starting around $6k!

fyi, travis had a death in the family and is off right now. He still might be checking the forums/facebook but I'm not sure.
  16. Balance of Grip, Driveability and Wear. Boosted S550 Tire Discussion

If you aren't driving the car everyday, get some sticky m/t drag radials.... If the tires only last 5k miles, so what? the car isn't your DD anymore..
  17. Boost Works daily driven twin turbo GT goes 9.60's @ 147mph

Might be the fall before we find out, I go into hibernation mode in the Texas summers lol.
  18. Boost Works daily driven twin turbo GT goes 9.60's @ 147mph

Good, but really need drag radials, pretty sure those slicks are hurting my mph.
  19. Boost Works 1200hp entry level twin turbo kit? Starting around $6k!

Turbo's are fine, they are tucked up real tight. Here in houston it rains A lot. You can add in cats after the turbos if you want. Yes Boost Works sales his tubular manifold setup for an added cost.
  20. Boost Works daily driven twin turbo GT goes 9.60's @ 147mph
