Just to be clear, the backfire is because of the valve timing differences between a direct injection engine and port injection? That at least is my suspicion, and would also mean you shouldn't typically need a metal manifold since a backfire isn't optimal no matter what and would be developed...

What's not to understand? Colder air going in pre-turbo will result in a mutually colder air leaving it. The delta doesn't change (the amount the turbo heats up the air) so, if you have 45* going in and you add 120. now you have 165* air, if you start with 70* Air then you still add 120, and...

I generally agree. I do intend to get the blank rear panel, but for the front grill I'll likely be dipping the chrome mustang. Its not my preference but it's a tie-me-over until I get the RTR Grille pack. (at least that's what I'm leaning towards)
