Ok yeah I plan on doing the internals, also I've been reading the sleeves on the blocks tend to be a weak point when trying to push the power up so I'm assuming it's a good idea to get those done on either block also

It's the gt350 style the threads are ok just doesn't screw down very far before the the reverse lock out gets blocked. I do have a steeda triax shifter not sure if that could be the issue
Hey guys I just bought a gt350 shift knob from American muscle for my GT and the threads fit but I can only get 4 turns on it before the reverse lock out hits and I can't put it in reverse. Is this normal for these shift knobs?
