It's the gt350 style the threads are ok just doesn't screw down very far before the the reverse lock out gets blocked. I do have a steeda triax shifter not sure if that could be the issue

Hey guys I just bought a gt350 shift knob from American muscle for my GT and the threads fit but I can only get 4 turns on it before the reverse lock out hits and I can't put it in reverse. Is this normal for these shift knobs?

I'm happy with steeda products I don't think I would have anything installed there either they are way to expensive on labor
