Except that the 5.0 sounds like basically nothing. It emits a nice little growl right when the engine starts, but when you're actually driving around it sounds like nothing at all. You can hear the light switch rattling over the exhaust note.
But at least in the automatic, in Normal mode, you put the throttle to the floor, and then you wait a second or two for it to downshift, and then you accelerate. With Sport+ it normally stays in a lower gear longer -- in Normal, it upshifts as soon as you get to about 1800 rpm, so if you're...
Not necessarily all in your right foot. I get the worst mileage when I'm not touching the gas at all -- at idle, with the automatic, the car will get up to about 8-10 mph. When you're in that kind of traffic when you don't ever get above ten mph for three or four straight hours, and you spend...
My record for beating that in my current Mustang: 2,800 miles in four days (from Brooklyn, NY to Santa Monica, CA).
In my previous (2011) Mustang: 1,300 miles in 22 hours (Miami, FL to Brooklyn, NY).
You can get decent mileage on the highway, but city driving kills mileage. I've twice gotten tanks over 30 mpg (both pure highway miles with significant elevation drops), and I usually average around 26-27 on the highway... but in the city... ugh. On my commute this morning (which was six...

On a serious note, if you feel too high up, have you tried moving the seat backwards and reclining the seat back? That'll lower your head and center of body mass and you feel that you're lower.
I'm going to cross 30,000 this weekend, which is kind of impressive since I take the train to work. Took 6,000 miles on a cross-country road trip; most weekends spend swinging between in-laws in Jersey and my family on Long Island.
Things I like about the new Camaro: Magnetic shocks; 8 speed transmission; dual mode exhaust.
Things I don't like about the new Camaro: Getting it with those options and similar options to my Mustang costs $55,000. Also you can't see out of it.
