I'm bumping this thread because almost 3 years later, I'm still having the same problem. I'm hoping to get the car to a Mustang shop/tuner in the next few months. I hope they can help figure it out.
Ah, looks like I had an uncleared P0300 DTC. There was no CEL, but I just checked out of curiosity. I cleared it, and then had no problem getting into Track Mode. I'll have to keep an eye out to see if it throws the P0300 again.
I've seen a few threads on this topic, but not my specific scenario. A year or so ago, my car would randomly tell me that the Drive Selection Mode was unavailable. After warming up, the car would eventually allow me to go into any mode. Fast forward to this year, I'm not able to get into...
I've got some belt chirp I'm diagnosing as well. It is intermittent. I could be loud as hell in the morning, and then by late afternoon it is almost gone. And sometimes it will chirp all day long. It's really annoying. I can't even hear the blower whistle at lower speeds. I was offered up...
After having an RST clutch/flywheel installed a couple weeks ago, I’ve been getting the P0300, P0302, P0308 misfire codes. It looks like I might have to do the crank relearn. I do have the X4 that can do it. And from this thread, it doesn’t look like it should affect my custom tune for my KB...
I have the same issue, really annoying. There was another thread on here that talked about greasing up some white plastic piece. It quieted it down, but the noise came back.
I could see them maybe making a case that the change in ride height contributed to a wheel bearing failure. But it would have to be drastically out of camber to knock out a wheel bearing so quickly.
I'd just keep the Camaro. But that's just me. Once I buy a car, I commit to it. I could never take the loss on trading in a practically brand new car. The replacement car would have to be substantially cheaper, and the cost includes whatever it would cost to make the replacement car as fast...
I didn't like that color the first few times I saw it. It has since grown on me. It was probably that way for a lot of people. I've only seen a handful on the road since 2015. My color (DIB) was all over the place. For a while, at least 50% of the cars I saw were DIB.
I had the JLT and their canned tune on the X4. I don't see the point in paying for a custom tune on a relatively stock car. I don't know a custom tune will really get that much more for the money.
I felt the difference with their tune / CAI on the butt dyno. I never had it on a dyno...
