  1. Battery corrosion

The blue is probably the copper from the connector corroding off and depositing the copper within the buildup... I had the same on mine, but it was after 4 years of use, not as quickly as yours did... Don
  2. Dead battery

Haha... Guess I got lucky... I just had to replace my battery yesterday... 2012 with 95k miles... I got my money's worth... It was an overnight failure... Worked fine one day, then the next a cell died and wouldn't start without a jump... Had to pop my clutch just to get to the dealership after...
  3. Poor Driveability when cold. Tune?

I get what you're saying and understand your POV... i can say that as someone who is on his 3rd Mustang, and looking at buying a new 2017 or 2018 soon, I'm a long lover of 'Stangs... I was active on other forums and have seen this there as well... all with no real indication as the source... I...
  4. Poor Driveability when cold. Tune?

2012 GT with FRPP tune, manual trans, 94k miles (yes I know, not a 6G)... Mine does this too, but only occasionally... It's my opinion that this is might not be tuner specific... been tuned for all but the first 12k miles, and the description of others here are the same as mine... Not sure...
  5. Moments In Motorsport: ZL1 Addons

Really great article and photos are amazing... Do you write for a living? It's as if you did more research and Q&A than just stopping by his home shop... Impressive. Don
  6. Is she totaled?

What Kevin said... You can get a beater civic cheap and then ditch it once the 18's come out.. or work with your dealer and order another GB '17 how you want... lead time on orders is about 6 weeks from what I've seen... a little more than the 30 days the insurance will likely authorize, but...
  7. Oil Separator

I vote a definite need if you drive spirited at all... I collect about an ounce and a half of oil in my JLT catch can every 6 months... for a 2012, that's almost half a cup of oil diverted from the intake every year... I daily drive this girl and she's got 95k miles... money well spent. Don
  8. Check Engine Light- Evap

If the dealer doesn't find any obvious issues mechanically, I have to ask if she filled the gas tank up before the CEL came on? I've heard that in some cars that when you try to "top" off the gas after the nozzle clicks off, you know, trying to squeeze an extra half gallon into there, it can...
  9. Close-call thread (Dash Cam)

Honestly, watching the video, I don't think it would've made a bit of difference if there was a dashed line instead of a double yellow... that focus was moving over the line themselves...
  10. The Signature Wheels SV101 GT350

    Good gawd she's beautiful. :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:
  11. Insurance premiums???

41 y/o Male 2012 Mustang GT Premium, no points, accidents in more than 7 years. More than minimum coverages, $250 deductible $425/6months - Liberty Mutual
  12. 2018 Ford Mustang Digital or Analog Gauges

I agree about needing to see in person, but because my wife's car has a portion of her gauges that is digital and in my experience, it gets washed out when it's very bright and sunny out... makes it too hard to see. I hope that isn't the case with the Mustang's dash though...
  13. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

From your website...https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP663140 61hp and 55lbft of torque gains... Wow! That's very impressive. I have a few questions, so please be patient with me if these were addressed elsewhere... Obviously those gains are peak, but what kind of gains are across...
  14. 2016 CS/GT thoughts

MSRP was $44k+... You should definitely tell them what you think you're willing to pay and see if they bite... I wouldn't suggest paying more than what you think it's worth, even if they think it's worth more. You're the one who has to part with the money. I've attached a copy of the window...
