Happened to read a post or two about that spring on the clutch of these cars. I wondered what was odd about this clutch. Been driving a stick for 50 years, and this car is different.
So I took out my vice gripes, grabbed my trouble light, pushed the clutch in and pulled the sucker out.
Had to take it for a drive to see the difference.
Wow, now that feels like a clutch should.
Awesome I can tell where the clutch engages now.
Whose idea was it to put a spring on the clutch?
Time will tell but the short spin I took showed me getting that spring out was a good idea.

Last week I had the resonator removed and a custom X pipe installed. The exhaust sounds just right now.
do yourself a favor and purchase the $10 steeda clutch spring replacement. No spring can be hard on your clutch over time (slave cylinder damage). the steeda spring gives it the proper feel that you are looking for...

Washed it for the last time. Took it to a dealer and let them buy it. Wanted to prepare for a 2018 and selling/trading a Mustang in the middle of winter is never a good idea.

Does the steeda spring make the clutch pedal harder to push in ? I had one on my ecoboost but there was a problem with the clutch on that car and the pedal was so stiff if felt the same with stock, steeda or no spring at all

Just slightly harder than the stock clutch spring - still softer than no clutch spring at all. The softer spring gives you way more feel for the proper clutch engagement point which makes it much smoother to work the clutch pedal.

Damn brotha!! I am sitting a 8,800 right now.
What can I say. I love the car. I am always running to the mountains or up the road to a show. I don't drive it to work that often (100 miles RT). Maybe once every few weeks now. Just some how they keep adding up. LOL. Usually a nice 4 hour run to the mountains will be between 150-200miles RT.

Finally got under my car and took a look at the MAK Cat deletes and resonators I had done recently.

And I found this... :( Must have hit a rock at triple digit speeds or something. Oh well, this is what you get for DDing your car on treacherous roads.

The black thing mounted on the grille is an ALP "Parking" sensor.
