Trim on key fob is peeling.....

Anyone else having the issue of the brushed trim peeling on their fobs???

One of mine is perfect, but the other is starting to peel.:tsk:

No issue with mine, but I've put a fob cover on mine.

It appears that everyone in China drives an auto. I can't find a 4 button cover. At least not a cheap silicon one. But I did see some nice looking carbon fibre covers.:cheers:

The trim on my key fob came off maybe 8 months into ownership. I ended up ripping it all off.

It started in the exact same place too.

I think it looks better without it, LOL.

I just noticed this on mine this past weekend! It is on the front and back. Kind of sad quality (only had the car for 7 months) as I like the silver accent. Guess I may get a cover if I see one I like. Luckily my second one has been in a drawer and I've only taken it out once to undo mykey setup (whoops :doh: :headbonk: ) . So I guess I will use that key for year 2 maybe. Or I imagine some silver/chrome model car paint and a small paint brush would probably look almost as good after all the sticker has peeled up.

Seems like there could be a market for an aftermarket, extremely over priced fob body that lets you just swap the internals. Replace that chrome sticker with a platinum metal bar. Only $599, would sell like fire on AM!

Nope.... Same as yours, but only has 4 buttons. Doesn't have a remote start button. I have a MT. :cheers:
