Haha. It's funny you mention that man. Everyone suggested gloss too. After seeing them in person though, the satin black definitely looks better to me. It's the same finish as the stock GT350 wheels and almost looks like a premium finish of some sort. Gloss looks nice too but looking at them up close, it didn't seem as "smooth" and "clean" as the satin black. Seemed to show scratches fine scratches a bit more too.
Definitely agree! I think satin looks better and it doesn't show brake dust as much IMO...

I run 305/30/19 front and 325/30/19 in the rear. They are a very smooth riding tire and better than the OEM Michelin's in the rain. They do not have as much dry grip as the Michelin tires do so there is a bit of a tradeoff if you track the car.

They also eliminated tramlining for me which is crazy as the fronts are even wider than what came with the car.
Are they rougher on bad roads due to having less flex ? You are going to a smaller diameter wheel with these, and less rubber so to speak (thinner sidewall) ?
Also, the front is almost an inch smaller wheel in this case, would they not affect handling... I am interested to change also.

Why not going to a 35 tire for front, it is almost identical in diameter to oem, actually larger by only .3" , which is negligible ... and would provide better cushion...

Thanks

Torque124, I'm not sure if you are clear on what I said. They are more comfortable on the road than the original Michelin tires despite being a 30 series vs a 35 series.

Hard to comment on them having better "handling" characteristics. I'm certain that on a track that times would be slower due to more slip as much as the data may be miniscule. Beyond that, the car drives and performs great with these tires. They shed water much better than the OEM tires did which is a win for most any daily driver.

You're right - the gloss absolutely do show fine scratches very well. I try hard to not scratch them and am very careful when washing them.

Just my opinion or taste but the gloss accent a great paint job on the car whereas the flat wheels lessen the "sheen" when clean.
Use this on the wheels, at least 2 coats so you minimize scratches ... very good product.

The difference in finish...

Everybody has their own tastes and I respect that.
Hey Epiph, can we see some pics with those installed on your car? Always looking for tire fitment options, especially with regard to wheel well standout.... Thanks!
