Yes definitely want to put as much as possible on the Amex for the points, better not charge me extra for doing so! addle:

Points, cashback, looks good on my credit rating etc, I'll pay everything on credit just because it holds my perfect credit rating before I go and get a Mortgage lol....:lol:.

They should do, just some retailers and dealers hate Amex as it costs them to use it.... Some give you a 'errr have you got anything else' Which gets met with a 'Are you going to take 5% off the cost? No? Okay, it's all I have' (said jokingly ofcourse) :lol:

Yeah, trust ford @ Ashton gate, Bristol, I asked if they accepted it when paying my deposit, they were unsure but said give it a go, so I did and the machine refused it, this was back in July 16, so if they are now accepting it would be good if someone has used Amex at a trust ford dealership, as need to pay for my car in may!

Mine is a 6 rather than the 5, not sure what that number represents?

It's just a check digit, see page 1 of this thread for full guide to VIN meaning

It'll tell you what the numbers mean on the first post of this thread but I'm sure 5 in that location means it was built at Flat Rock near Detroit, 6 presume means a different factory? If it's the check digit though, it'll be anything between 0-9.

That 6 is a check digit, it means nothing.

1FA = Ford
6 = Seat Belts/Bags etc
PXX = Coupe/Vert and Engine
0-9/X = Check digit
F = 2015 / G = 2016 && so on
5 = Flat rock Michigan
6 digits = Sequential unit number
[MENTION=9193]marks[/MENTION] the '6' is just a check unit. the H after infers 2017. and then the next digits will be '5' + 6 random numbers

Yep, I looked on the front page but didn't provide any explanation but as you say that's because that number doesn't appear to mean anything!

Anyway, I've not been assigned a boat yet despite ordering in August and Blend Date of mid-Feb. Although Etis updated early last week to show the coils etc for the upfitters.

That's the subsequent number, mine is a 5 (Flat Rock) for that number location - had me worried there!

Woohooo, 349 is mine! I really didn't anticipate quite how agonising this wait would be. I'm so glad it's on a boat at last, checking the W&W site everyday was killing me!

Is there anywhere I can check online to get the location of my RS which I'm being told has been pulled for "Quality checks". It should have been delivered this week.
