MyColor on non-Premium? Hack/flash/reprogram?

he is saying yes , everything including the odometer rework. ill see how things go new cluster is on its way as we speak. who here had a write up on taking apart the dash to replace?

Just pulled the trigger and got one from LKQ. I need to put about 1700 miles on my car to match up to the mileage on the cluster. Then ill be able to pop mine out and out this one in without needing to program the mileage.

You could be the user who makes a how-to. Seems pretty straight forward to me. Remove kick panel, remove dash trim, remove cluster.

someone did it earlier in the thread if im correct , im having mine installed by ford . price is now 230$ but I just want it done right and with my correct mileage .

Did you buy the cluster from the dealer? Every dealer I called around me wouldn't program the mileage. Buying one from the dealer is the only way I think they'd do the program for me.

I purchased one from a guy online and I have a buddy at ford who got me connected. so im hoping it all goes well without any hiccups .

Well i took it to ford today it worked but like everyone said the sidecollision sensors come on and for some and they said it wouldnt "program" sooo im nit too sure what really went on, but. Im going to try and do the forscan. This odometer had 0 miles on it though . So it seems weird that it has 0 miles on it to me. Ill happily ride around with wrong odometer for while its on and i can seap my original odometer when and if i ever sell . Will i run into problems? Will this effect my exisiting tune?

I have to same errors, don't have to tool to program it, will get it later on or maybe just add the additional parts? Don't know yet. Works fine its 2800 miles less then my original gauges, PP center gauges also have Mycolor feature. Just need to get for scan tool and play around with it. I like it so far.

Is it driveable? Im tempted to just get it installed was it hard reporgramming the keyes? How did that work for you?
