Anybody try this on the rear yet to see what's needed? I can see the parking brake setup is different in the modeling pics. I was looking at individual components from ford parts whitebear lake, and it doesn't seem too expensive...as long as it's pretty much a bolt on.

I just noticed this... the gt350 is a radial mount system... that in itself is an enhancement over the stock PP system.

Have they ever updated the parts listings with the gt350 yet?

Hard to tell what you need if you can't browse the parts.

The rumour is Audi R8 front rotors can be modified to fit easily saving 10lbs per front rotor and they cost around $800-$1000 for the pair.

Or just buy the Baer two piece rotors that fit for $1k

I have a set of GT350 rear calipers coming next week. Going see how easy to adapt. Depends on the length of the mount studs. May have to order rear hats with 380mm disc...
Anyone already tried this?

My shop cars running the Brembo 15" rear kit already.

not sure about that... the only r8 rotors hitting the 15"(380mm) sizing of the PP brakes up front are the ceramics. Maybe redrilling to 5x114.3 lets you mount the 365mm r8 disks onto the standard GT 4piston fronts?

as far as the Baer go, they look nice, but I'd prefer a real floating rotor... the Girodisc look like a better option with real float and non-drilled slotted for similar $$

and I bet their rear GT500 rotors would go right onto the PP S550 rears, since ford just basically spec'ed the gt500 brake setup onto the new gen for the performance pack upgrade...

Those look nice, Baer good quality and would they be ok for hard track use and racing with?
No, not for racing/track use... as I stated in the post above, you would be better off on-track use with a floating non-drilled rotor like the Girodiscs.
The Baer look pretty and save some weight for the street, but that's about as far as their performance gains go.
