How so? Extra supporting mods to allow the procharger to rev higher? With some higher performing cams
You dont need cams to rev to 8k. If you're going force induction and find yourself needing cams they have FI cams specifically. The stock heads have shown they dont need much work. People have made almost 1100 whp so far on them.

Ik you don't need heads or cams to rev to 8k, but all supporting mods help gain power with lower boost

what mustang guy said, plus they're probably not cost efficient unless you're building a motor, which you'd have to on an f1 anyway

Ford gave us the opportunity to rev high. Everyone should modify to take advantage of it. RPM wins races.

The S550 has a HUGE advantage over any previous Mustang platform, as we can rev them well past peak power.

I believe everyone should base their performance mods on increased RPM. Of course, it can be costly - but this hobby isnt "cheap" if you do it right.

As in? Like parts to handle the RPM?
No. Like pd blower, centri, turbo. Do you really think thats needed? I didnt recall any of the 8 second coyotes using turbos or centri running out past 8. Then again im not checking out everyones build and asking tons of questions on the forums or at the track.

Those combos, even more so.

Food for thought. My car for example. It runs the same times as the fastest of the fastest 2011-2014 TVS cars - at 400lbs heavier. Only difference is, RPM  I shift about 900-1000 more RPM.

Then you have, Beefcakes new combo. It makes 1000whp. If you look at the graph, he needs to rev that thing to atleast 8500, if not more.

Then, the Whipple cars. Those guys are making peak power past 7500 rpm

Not even seeing what it makes past 7500, I can tell you, it needs to rev to atleast 8200...but most like 8500+ IMO.

The other thing to consider.

Hellion 8.90 Turbo
Eddie Rios 8.98 Turbo
Me 8.99 - TVS

So, you have a TVS car in the mix with 4 digit turbo cars. Maybe they should be revving higher? ;)
