Shelby GT350 Intake, Tune & Dyno

It’s been about a month since the first owners of the Shelby GT350 took delivery of their vehicles and we are starting to see the first indications of how the new 5.2L flat plane crank engine will respond to modifications.

M6G member Mustang33 picked up his 2016 GT350 with track pack a few weeks ago and brought it to the DTP Racing shop in Chesapeake, Virginia to have the car tuned with an SCT X4 (93 octane) and strapped to a dyno for results with and without a JLT Performance intake which features a large 5-inch inlet, specifically designed for the 2015-16 GT350.

The dyno results indicate that the GT350 put down 482 horsepower to the wheels for a gain of +31 RWHP from the combined JLT intake system and tune and 13 RWHP from the tune alone.

See the dyno graph in the forums and video below.
