The new 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang comes in five distinct performance variants based on the package chosen.
To help avoid confusion both among the customer and dealers about which “flavor of performance” is most suited to the customer’s needs, Ford Performance has created a new video containing “important ordering information.”
To help prospective buyers choose between the Shelby GT350 base model, GT350 technology package, GT350 track package, GT350 R package and the GT350 R electronics package Ford explains each of these distinct and mutually exclusive options packages and urges dealers to understand customers’ performance needs and how they want to use their vehicles before placing the order.
Of note, the video also stresses that GT350 technology package vehicles are best suited for drivers who “won’t be using the car quite so much on the race track and not as seriously, but want the MagneRide suspension capabilities and also higher end equipment for comfort and convenience.”
