The Salton Sea located in Southern California has been called a “sapphire jewel in the desert” by some and a “post-apocalyptic ghost town” by others. Regardless of how it is framed, the beauty of this saline inland lake, the largest in California, is undeniable.
M6G members in Southern California recently gathered their S550 Mustangs for an epic photoshoot in the desert, driving the roughly two-hours from Temecula to Borrego Springs and through the Borrego Salton Seaway in time for the sunset and some awesome photo-ops in the nighttime desert and beach surrounding the Salton Sea region.
What results are photos of beautiful Mustangs doing what they do best — tearing up the open road in an adventure-filled cruise on the way to one of America’s great natural landmarks.
