Ford Issues Recall on 728 2015 Mustang EcoBoost Models

Ford Motor Company has just issued a voluntary safety recall for 728 North American 2015 Mustang EcoBoost vehicles for a potential fuel line leak.

The issue on these vehicles is caused by a fuel pressure sensor (which is part of the fuel supply tube assembly) that may have been installed incorrectly.  Ford reports that this issue could cause a pressurized fuel leak which, when combined with an ignition source, could result in a fire.

As of now, there are no known cases of a fire, accident or injury related to this condition, but Ford is in the process of contacting owners of the affected vehicles.
