Ford just celebrated its official launch of the new Mustang going global!
The 2015 Mustang is now officially being exported and will be available in over 100 markets including both left and right hand drive countries, the latter which allows the pony car to be exported to more than 25 additional markets around the world, such as the United Kingdom, Australia and South Africa.
To prepare for export, the new Mustangs have to undergo extensive compliance and homologation to ensure conformity with vehicle standards in the destination countries.
The vehicles also need proper customs documentation and tracking in addition to certain vehicles receiving an underbody coating and providing documentation in languages specific to the destination countries.
