The Ford Mustang beat back the competition last month with sales of 6,196 vehicles in November 2016 despite the recent firming of details about the upcoming 2018 Mustang refresh.
The S550 Mustang overtook its main competition for the ninth month this year ending a recent two-month slump in which the Chevrolet Camaro overtook it in sales.
In comparison, the Camaro sold 4,893 units last month for a 7.7-percent YoY decline with 65,705 sales year-to-date. Dodge Challenger sales dropped to 3,908 vehicles sold last month for a 9-percent decline YoY and 59,176 sales year-to-date.
Ford has sold 98,868 Mustangs YTD compared to 113,607 sales YTD by November 2015.
