The frigid winter months usually have an equally chilling effect on sports cars and high performance vehicles and this past January has been no different, with sales of all three pony cars experiencing their seasonal sales plunge.
The good news for Ford Motor Company is that the S550 Mustang is the healthiest of the bunch and even in the month which saw the introduction of the refreshed 2018 Mustang, Ford managed to sell 5,046 Mustangs in January 2017.
While this represents a 33% dip from the same time last year, Ford Mustang sales still significantly outpaced both the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger.
