2015 “Rocket” Mustang Packs 725hp, $100,000+ Price Tag

Yesterday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the self-dubbed “Ultimate American Muscle Car” that had been teased last week, was unveiled to the world as a special coach-built 2015 Mustang from Galpin Auto Sports and designer Henrik Fisker.

Named simply “Rocket” — this supercharged 725-horsepower V8 Mustang uses carbon fiber extensively for the body, from the carbon fiber grille, front splitter, side skirts, rear decklid and rear diffuser.

In addition to exotic materials, the Mustang features 21″ ADV.1 wheels and massive 15″ Brembos.

It should come as no surprise then that this will likely be one of the most expensive S550 Mustangs that you can own, starting at just over $100,000.  Of course, with a price tag like that, The 2015 Mustang Rocket will be extremely low volume and as a result, remain both rare and coveted.

Production is set to begin in December with deliveries starting in the first quarter of 2015.

The vehicle can be ordered directly through Galpin Ford or from one of the “hand picked” dealers both domestic and abroad.
