Hey guys,
Like many other owners on the forum, I've been debating what to do in order to safely lift the car to start making some changes and with the incredible need for better suited cold weather tires, I saw myself in a pickle when the shop I frequent told me they jack the cars metal on metal. I had seen some post about adapter that the dealer uses and certain ways to protect the under body, but the one that attracted me the most was the ZL1 Addons Bracket. The pictures look great and decided to give it a try. Before placing the order I spoke to John, who clarified that these are made specifically for Mustangs and even have some padding (plastic material) at the bottom to smooth out the load. They seem like a great solution and I'll have a better idea once the set arrives next week.
There is a set of universal brackets as well that may work as well. I will be reviewing the "Premium" ones.
