higher octane gas, like in this case 93, is what they rate the HP and torque at i believe. running 87 i’m definitely losing like 20hp, but i would never know, and i don’t floor it, so idc….gas here is like 3.30 a gallon..and we all remember winter months when gas was in the low 2’s to high 1’s a gallon, so i’m not trying to go broke lol. but honestly, higher octane gas should give you slightly better MPG as well from what i’ve read, but like it was stated, the cost difference probably doesn’t make up for it, probasbly isn’t worth it. just in awe that you guys are getting such high city MPGs lol crazy. are you all manual 6spds too? or autos

6sp all the way. Yes auto is faster. I just prefer the engagement to the vehicle.

From my research Peak HP and TQ is only hit between 10-15 per. But the power band especially over midrange can take a a pretty big hit

F auto lol sorry to offend any 10r80 guys, but i’m sorry, i just could never own an automatic muscle car. hell, i’ve never owned an auto in my life. only auto is my work F150 because they don’t make em in stick! which they totally should……….

not offended lol I’m opposite I’ve never owned a manual. It’s funny when I went to order the car that I ended up not getting LOL the sales guy says “you don’t want manual?” Tried to convince me! I was like I don’t want to learn on a brand new car I’ll ruin it lmao. you buy what you like and f what anyone else thinks LOL end of the day you’re the one driving the car so it only matters what you like right

washed and waxed her today! used this armor all ceramic soap, and then meguiar's hybrid ceramic wax. came out great!!

Seeing your car all shiny and clean reminds me I need to wash mine too..going on 2 weeks since the last wash. Of course not even a few days passed after I washed it that it rains 3 days straight and got dirty again so I waited until I knew no rain in the forecast lol Since it's my daily and only car I can't garage it when it rains.

And I never get tired of hearing that V8! Since I have auto, I take advantage of the remote start every time haha. I think I can count on one hand the number of times I haven't remotely started the car. The sound is like music to my ears so I like to hear it from the outside lol.

You can get it aftermarket. Most are programmed not to start unless car is in neutral and ebrake on. I've debated on it.

anyone else confused by auto climate! never had a car with it. so majority of the time mine is set to like 72 or 73 heat wise since it’s chilly out…most of the time it comes from defroster. does this mean the defroster is running, like the ac compressor? ac isn’t lit but isn’t that what defroster area ventilation is, uses ac to help unfog windows? just trying to figure out if that’s running and wasting gas lol

1. they claim ford is no longer doing Xplan even though I have it in email that the dealership is doing X-plan
1b. The invoice they brought out did not include my $500 deposit.
2. They have added crap to the car I didn’t ask for. Some kind of alarm, vin etching & 3m door guards
3. They brought out a ‘fake’ window sticker that contained my vin and vehicle info but had a higher price

This is wild, I was afraid something like this would happen.

I specifically told them I didn't want it. The first sales guy told me that most of the items came from the factory that way. I repeated my requirement to not have them. I switched to a different sales guy that told me they wouldn't put that stuff on. I even had them write it on my order sheet that I signed.

wow F that!!!!! i’d be so mad holy crap. now what?

I’m livid but kept my cool. On the second hour and we’re 1000 off from my x plan amount. They even had the nerve to have another sales guy come up to me and say “the blue mustang, we had like 5 ppl look at it today” even though the other sales guy told me it’s been dead today. Get the F outta here dude.

dude. your dealer sucks. wow. mine was luckily a cakewalk and my guy was awesome and he himself is a mustang guy who owns them, so i was happy
