Has anyone tried these wheels with a 295 or 305 tire on the rear
I tried 295 and had rubbing going over dips and bumps

I know this is an old thread and this may have been answered throughout, but I've seen so many mixed opinions. Is there really a difference between running a 275/35 vs a 285/30? I'll be putting these on with eibach sportlines next week and would hate to have rubbing issues. The wheels are currently on 275/35 but I'm just confirming I shouldn't make the switch.

Bought my car with these wheels already on them. Came with 285/30 on the front and 305/30 on the rear... Have to be super cautious of bumps/dips in the road otherwise the rears rub on the fender, you can tell on the putter 1/2" of the tire where it has rubbed.

It's finally time to get new tires on the back, I'm really looking at going 285/40. Does anyone know if I'll get rubbing going on from that or should I just go with the 285/35?

Sorry about resurrecting this from the dead.
