I'm hoping to get into window tinting soon enough. I'll probably just hire someone to do that. For some reason I just have no desire to do that. As for protecting the film you want to treat it just like paint. Wash it regularly, clay bar the film to remove contaminants, and Paint seal. I usually use Menzerna Polymer sealant not just for film but also for the body, It's so easy to work with. On my mustang I will be installing Opti-Coat Pro on the film and the body. I just want to give my car as much protection as possible with as little maintenance as possible. If that makes sense.Mike, I'm surprised you don't do window tint as well. Similar process.
Also, do you have to wax your car with xpel?
