SCT region lock SCT handhelds.

So 7015-UK as sold by Dreamscience is UK region, so a UK tuner such as Dreamscience who by the way do not write tunes, SCT write them the tunes and load those tunes only onto a UK 7015-UK, you cannot load a USA tune on a 7015-UK.

SCT sell licences to tuners, so a UK tuners exports tunnes for UK handhelds and a USA tuner exports for the USA handheld, so regular 7015.

USA tuners are not interested in buying the UK license from SCT, it cost too much and it is just easier for you to buy a USA 7015 SCT X4 and then you can get custom tunes from USA tuners.

SCT tunes are nothing special and they are canned tunes, this is what Dreamscience sell.

I wanted a custom tune due to me doing some extensive modifications and the USA tuners for the V8 are simply better due to experience. The other option is to get HP tuners and self tune the car.

Just to be clear then the tuner they was going to sell me would have been useless ,as I had told them it was a US LHD vehicle and was told just needed a US tune putting on it.
