I hope a GT500 hood hits the market soon in magnetic metal with hood pins.

Like a lot! Not sure why I put w/o hood pins in my original post. But hood pins are a must! I hate watching mine dance around over 100. I also haven't had much luck with aftermarket fiberglass hoods. My 97 Cobra had one that decided to kiss the top of my car while traveling 65ish down the interstate.

You'll want to go with Cervinis as the factory GT500 hood won't fit your car at all as the GT350 and GT500 have a different radiator support that lowers and changes the hoodline.

Better to learn now than after you'd paid a ridiculous amount for the factory unit to find it wouldn't fit. Hell even the aftermarket hood struts aren't interchangeable.

Throw some good hood pins (you can actually get replica GT500 style pushlocks) and the Cervinis hood and you'll be good to go. Never trust a fiberglass or carbon fiber hood without hoodpins.
