it seems like people are getting 410hp To 420hp with intake and tune. add long tubes it would be 440 to 450?

Are shorty headers even worth it?

yes thats true. It has also been shown the 11-14 headers do fit, however after that you're kind of stuck since we dont have a true mid pipe. If you want to run 11-14 headers you will need to fabricate a mid pipe.

Negative, the stock setup is a pretty efficient "shorty" header already. Much more can be had with LT's throughout the entire RPM range, not just "peak" power. Lots of folks get caught up in the Peak HP gained without really looking at the entire pull.

I'd personally skip BBK, just my thoughts. Get a brand that is made for this platform.

that's a damn good point, I just feel like you get more out of LA headers when you go forced induction

Don't buy those you need LTs for extra power, and don't buy Ceramic for a daily driver or if they ever get wet. I have some 20 year old BBK Chrome headers on my 90' vert and they look new aside from the heat coloration of the chrome. The ceramic LTs on my 2011 get a decent amount of surface rust each year and the car has never been drriven in the rain. I use a polish to clean them off each summer. The humidity brings out the surface rust which is easily cleaned if you stay on it.

I have 10 year old ceramic costed Headers that are discolored only. No surface rust. Jet hot sucks. Find someone local to coat with a stellar rep. I use QC coatings in michigan. I've had him coat all kinds of shit. Intakes, still look like new and the intake gaskets don't stick to them. Valve covers, rc car exhaust. My current margay go kart kt100 exhaust is going to get coated too. Never had to have anything recoated under warranty
