Hi all,
I've done some searching through the forums and I think I have a good idea on how I want to proceed with my suspension changes. I have a 2015 GT non PP.
I used to own a 2006 GT and I installed the roush suspension package and I really liked it. Stance was perfect and the ride was still comfortable while increasing performance. I know Roush offers a kit for the 2015 but it is quite pricey and might be overkill for what I am looking for. Although if you have the kit I'd be interested to hear what you think of it.
What I'm looking to do is lower the car to reduce the wheel gap and increase the handling performance while retaining a comfortable ride. I use the car for road trips and daily driving. I do not have plans to take it to the track. The car is fun to drive now and I'm sure with a few upgrades it will be even more fun.
I spoke with Kelly at BMR and I'm looking to install the BMR minimal drop springs, cradle lockout, PP shocks/struts, and steeda shock mounts. What do you think of this setup? Is there something different I should be looking at? I am a little concerned with the PP shocks/struts as usually I feel OEM is lacking at times...but I may be wrong as well.
Let me know your thoughts and thanks for the help.
Eric
