Congratulations to our good friend, Jessie Ringley, for eclipsing the 800rwhp mark in his EcoBoost Mustang!

Jessie is an Engineer at the University of Tennessee, and the owner of Engineered Motorsports Solutions in Rogersville, TN.

After 5 years of R&D, testing, breaking, redesigning, etc. And with the help of some great like-minded people. Jessie is now the current record holder for the EcoBoost Mustang platform!

As a friend and a sponsor of this program, I'm honored to have been involved since the early days & proud that Jessie stuck with it & has helped the platform so much.

His 2021 goals include running an 8 second quarter mile time 💪💪💪 Please join me in congratulating Jessie on this achievement and wishing him success on running that elusive 8 second quarter mile pass!!!

DSPORT Magazine? Does anyone know what issue featured him and his car? Or if they have an online issue that I can access and read??
I know he's been at one of the East Tennessee local 1/8 mile tracks, but didn't realize he had a public shop and business!

This is a 2.0L hybrid block with the 2.3L rotating assembly, all spec'd and assembled by Jessie at EMS. This combo is a setup that we set out to develop together starting in 2016, where we start with an OEM Ford semi-closed deck from their 2.0L offerings in the Focus or Fusion. We then outfit it with the 2.3L rotating assembly, a Focus RS head gasket, and several other tricks. We've been through many different iterations on this journey, and Jessie / EMS has perfected it now. Along the way we've always been open and sharing the data with others in the platform / community in an effort to grow them. They're now offered as a fully assembled short or long block:

805 whp is about 915 crank hp (assuming 12% loss). That's 405 hp per liter (915 crank hp / 2.26 liters). That's gotta be around 50-55 psi of boost assuming a 2.3 liter engine (138 c.i.). Holy smokes!

Pretty close!!! It's made north of 50psi on track on datalogs. If I'm not mistaken the 805hp on the dyno was at 43psi.

Same engine in a Focus RS would be something. People have been making north of 500HP for a couple of years now on the Focus RS 2.3L.
760HP at the wheels in the RS would be amazing.

Really curious about head port work. These heads flow terribly and have thin walls to the water passages so curious if any magic was worked there or just turning the boost to 11.....I mean 43 did the trick.
