Wondering how to safely remove this to replace it with another emblem. The 18+ isn’t flat like th 15-17 dash emblem so it needs to be removed. You can not stick an emblem on top of it like the 15-17. Any advice would be welcome. It seems like it fills the spot pretty perfectly making it kinda hard to wedge something under it to lift up and off.

Presuming its only glued on, heat gun & fishing line?

The other option would be locating pins with retainers on the back.
I dont know as I've not had the dash trim off.
Maybe look up an exploded parts diagram to see. Or there's always YouTube.

No pins. It’s just double sided.

Cool - I had sit in a 19 in the dealers and didn't notice that - Maybe another USA / Euro difference ? (or I was too interested messing around with the digi dash to notice it :cwl: )

I believe he means that it isn't "flush" with the surrounding area. My 2019 badge isn't flat and is instead a pyramidical rectangle. In addition, it's set into a pocket in the dash, instead of being mounted on a flat surface. It doesn't look like it would be an easy pull for the usual "heat and dental floss" method.

That being said, can't see why you would want to take it off. Still, à chacun son goût.
