This.

And I'm wondering what will replace it?
I will replace it with the Ford Performance badge. It’s the emblem Ford puts in the Cobra Jet and all its race car mustangs. Considering I have pretty much every available upgrade by Ford Performance that could be done to an 18+S550 I figured it was fitting. Also it’s a true OEM replacement badge which I like considering I’m not much for the custom badges. BTW I believe and I could be wrong the 2020 MY model is flat again since it’s a “55 year” emblem for whoever was asking.

So to bring this topic up again. I’m trying today and it’s damn near impossible with any pry tool. All I’m doing is scratching the badge up. At this point now it has to come off. Any advice would help. This 18 one is seriously hard to get off. I believe if I pop the dash off and pull that piece there’s a hole behind it. I can just pop it that way if necessary I guess but really do not want to.

I didn’t realize the ford performance badge was flat and wouldn’t work on my 2019 easily. Did you ever figure this out OP?

I just gently pried with a plastic trim remover. Peeled off easy.

Yes. I popped the dash piece off and popped the emblem from behind through a hole and then installed the dash piece back with it installed. Any one who says it’s easy usually has a 15-17. It’s very easy with that model due to the fact that the emblem leaves a lot of space on the edges and is flat unlike the 18+ which fills the area out and is curved.

Could you point me to a walkthrough for removing the dash piece? I hope it’s not the full dash

You have to remove the full dash which is very easy to acces this piece because it is also secured with screws. Which are located under the dash.

No screws on my dash emblem. I just gently pried off with a plastic trim removal tool.

Was yours stuck on with double-sided tape? I've been thinking of getting a fun little custom emblem to put in this space.

Took the dash apart, got the trim piece and pushed the decal off. I think I might have lost one of the white clips in the dash from the airbag trim piece. Where is the easiest place to get spares and what part number?
