My driver's side windshield wiper arm can't be raised (tilted outward) without the wiper blade hitting the passenger side's wiper arm and blade.

Anyone else have this clearance issue?

Mine does too, but it is very slight. Just the tip would touch the passenger blade/arm.

I actually like the classical lay out of the wipers, 2 same sized blades that sweep in the same direction

Raise the driver side first. Then nothing to obstruct passenger side.

What you're advising makes no sense.

It's the driver's side wiper blade that hits the passenger side wiper arm because the tip of the driver's side wiper blade parks partially under the passenger side wiper arm.

Point of this thread was just to check if others have the same issue and from the sound of it it's a common design issue among the Mustang and other Ford models.
