It’s probably too early to ask; but, is anyone running MPS4S P325/30ZR19 tires on the back of their 2018 GT PP2?

The Michelin MPS4S P325/30ZR19 tire specification lists 11” wheels as the minimum wheel width. But, will they rub on the back of a 2018 GT PP2 when mounted on the PP2 wheels?

Thanks,

Yeah they'll fit ok. Are you also running PS4S up front?

Yes, I'm running MPS4S P285/35ZR19 on the front. I want a taller rear tire. My concern is the P325s rubbing during hard turns.

That was a nice scoot video at the end of your build log. The Schroth QFpros are my next mod.

Thanks,

Nah you should be fine. If you lower the car more than ~0.75" in the back you might rub but even then I think you'll be fine.

And thanks! The car is working extremely well on track.

User asphian (I think that's right) on this sight is running 325/30/19 MPS4's on the rear, and I believe he is lowered on GT350 Springs if I remember. Not sure what camber he was running, but you might message him for more details. Pretty sure there was one other PP2 user running 325/30/19 MPS4's stock with no issues, but I don't remember his username.

I have them on my PP2 they stick out to far for my taste. No rubbing though.

This is correct. Tire Rack lists the 325/30 as 26.7” diameter and the 285/35 at 26.9.

If you wanted a taller rear tire, thats not it.

I’m running the 305/35R19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport. It has a diameter of 27.4", a width of 12.3".

Hopefully the 2019 GT350 Sport Cup 2s will be available soon.
Cheers,
