Persistance is a Bitch
The BIG LIE. Hitler learned a great deal from the D party and put it to use with despicable effect. The Yale History department refuses to debate Dinesh, they are afraid of him for good reason. They can't paint him with the white patriarchal male tag. And of course, his scholarship crushes the Big Lie like the odious piece of socialist crap that it is.Wrong
People either forgot or don't know that Hitler was pretty popular in the US before WW2 kicked off. The US branch of the Nazi Party was rather large, they had massive rallies all over the US. The right-wing element in congress loved what Hitler represented when compared to the idea of socialists taking root (everything is socialism when the right don't want it), and they were fully prepared to support an American version of Hitler if the alternative was socialism taking root. Hell, there was even a real secret plot to launch a fascist coup, headed by none other than Senator Charles Lindbergh.
That tendency hasn't died out; it never went away. Just look at how gullible people are on any media platform. People LOVE to find hate groups that are convenient scapegoats. Everything is bad except for what they say, everything is spam except for the confirmation bias articles they post, etc.
It isn't hard to see how authoritarianism can take over. Look into "The Third Wave" an experiment, where a high school teacher created a fascist movement that took over his school and spread to neighboring schools in a few days.
Hell just look at our history with the likes of McCarthyism and/or Russian geopolitics - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics
"I am not suggesting that Hitler derived his racism, his appetite for conquest, or his willingness to sterilize and euthanize his fellow citizens from American Democrats. He did, however, learn how to frame his policies of racial discrimination and Nordic supremacy, his lebensraum strategy of mass displacement and subjugation, and his genocidal mechanisms for exterminating the “unfit,” from his fellow leftists and progressives in the United States."
This is the disgraceful legacy of the Democratic left. Scholars and media pundits who know this history are deeply frightened by it. They realize that if young people discover it, if it comes to become widely known, then the whole progressive Democratic project will be discredited. No longer will progressives be able to pose as the part of the good, the true and the beautiful; on the contrary, they will be exposed as a partly complicit in racism, mass murder and genocide.
