Don't know about the Firestones but if you're running 255/40/19s go to a 265/40/19 I think they fit and look a lot better. I did that until I got new wheels and went way bigger\wider
Fit rigjt on 9” rims w/o issues? Wondering about alternate sizes myself

I have BFGoodrich G-force Comp 2 all seasons. I love them. Great tire all around, and not to bad in the snow. The reason I went with them is the tread pattern goes all the way to the sidewall making a wider contact patch and gives the illusion of a fatter tire. But all the tire suggestions here are good. It comes down to what you can afford vs performance.

I have them on the 8.5" wide and they're perfect

Well now I am wondering why the spacers are on mine at all. The car in program one was dyno’ed at 751.8 hp with 10 psi. My program 2 is at 14 psi and not sure the power. Maybe looking for squat on the rear? Who knows… definitely not the look I want…

I have over 40k on my Firehawks. I've had them for so long that the price has doubled since I originally had them installed. They are SO MUCH better than the crappy OEM Pirelli's. They are good in the wet and dry. Very respectable for the occasional road course too.

Just for my own input. I bought the

Goodyear
Eagle Exhilarate

They have been amazing on Highway 17 and mountain rides here near Santa Cruz and San Francisco. I would definitely suggest these to anyone looking for high performance but a THIC tire ware.
