I've done some searching on here and a few other boards but haven't really found my answer since most people seem to upgrade but these were an upgrade for me from the factory GT/CS wheels.

I'd love to be able to go 305/30-20 since they'd be (almost) the exact height as the 265/35-20s that are on it now.

In case I'm not referring to them properly, these are the wheels that are being referenced;

Technically a 275 is the widest that is recommended for a 9" wide wheel (possibly a 285 depending on tire manufacturer). That said I've seen 305 35 20s on the 9" wide wheels. Because of it being squished though typically contact patch is no larger than a 275 on that same 9" wide wheel.

Thank you. That affirms what I was thinking. I suppose 285 is better than 265...

I have the same wheels and am my factory P-Zero's are just about toasted (at 22k miles now but probably have another month or so left). I've been looking around at tires as well.

A while back, I stumbled on a post by another guy who had the same wheels. He replaced the factory 265/35/20 PZero's with 275/35/20's I believe (I know the width was 275 but can't remember if the height was 35 or 30). He said they worked perfectly with no problems or rubbing. If I recall correctly, he had replaced the PZero summer tires with Conti DWS A/S tires, something I may do as well since my car is my DD and I live in Baltimore.

305 seems way too wide for those wheels. I would definitely check with a tire expert on that. Also, are these 9" wide or 8.5" wide? I can't remember...

They were 275 35 20. About 2/10" taller than the stock 265/35/20 which is nothing. A 285 35 20 would also work. It's about 1/2" taller than stock.

305's do not work, been there, done that. So 275 is the widest you can go on those wheels based on opinion of the tire guy at my shop.

I have 285's on mine and they look fine but need more rubber out back as I am putting on a roush TVS. Really wanted these wheels to stay on the car so I ordered the black foundry 20x10's for the rear from AM and getting them powder coated magnetic on the inlays to match. Going with a 305 on the rear. Hope its enough. Lol
