I have the 5 spoke (19 x 9.5 front and 19 x 10 on the rear) What are the widest tires I can squeeze onto these?

I appreciate the help.

Depend if you only want something that physically fit or you want the best handling

Can do doesn't mean you should do...
275/285 would be the best fit. You can go wider, but the tire will be pinched and you won't get your money's worth for it.

It also depends on the tire. Go to Tire Rack and look at the tire you want. In this case I picked the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=Pilot+Sport+4S

Go to specs and click on view all specs. Now find your size. Start with the OEM size in this case Front 255/40-19 Rear 275/40-19

Now check the rim width range. this shows you what the manufacturer recommends.

So looking at this specific tire you're looking at 275/285 up front and 285/305 in the rear.
