Hi, I looked at a number of threads here where guys installed GT350 wheels on a base GT without mods/spacers. Other than some front poke on a non-lowered GT I can't see why they would not fit. Sent a tech request to LMR asking why they wouldn't fit and and have not gotten a response. Anyone use rims with these specs on a base GT?

The offsets for a GT350 and GT are different so technically GT350 wheels are not intended to be used on GTs.

The GT350 wheels bolt up to a GT and plenty of people have used, or are using, them on GTs. Before committing to GT350 wheels you need to be mindful that the front tires are going to protrude past the fenders slightly and you may need to add negative camber to prevent the tire from rubbing the fender when the suspension compresses.

I have those wheels on mine. But I have a PP1. See sig pic. Plug and play.
do you have the GT350 offsets or the GT offsets, they make that wheel in both, and yours looks a lot like the GT offsets

I'm sure they sold you the ones made for the GT.

Is my math correct? GT350 front specs are 10.5" with +30 offset. These LMR front rims are 10" with +20 offset. So I'm thinking the clearances at the strut tower and fender are within a few mm of each other?

Using my Mach 1 as a reference, a 19x10, +35 leaves about a thumb's width to the strut, with no poke.

Below is the best angle I have of existing photos, with a 19x10, +35, 285/35. The tire edge appears to be in-line with the lip. I have no rubbing or clearance issues.

I noticed that, along with the offset, the backspacing differs. On the 350/350R-specific wheel, backspacing differs between front (more outward) and back (more inward) versus the non-350R wheels.

No, the 10" ET20 is offset father away from the strut and also is narrower, so you will have+16mm at the strut compared to the 10.5 ET30, and you'll be ~3mm inboard of the 10.5 at the fender (but remember, the GT350 fenders are physically wider than the GT, so what tucks inside a GT350 fender may not tuck inside a GT fender.
