About a month ago, I come rolling up on my nephew one morning when we were on our way to work. We work for two different employers, but follow the same major highway to get to work. 6 lane divided highway, built to interstate specs (U.S. 50) in Maryland. He's got a 2019 Subaru WRX and I'm in my 2018 hotrod Toyota Avalon. As I roll up next to him he sees me, I point straight ahead and then punch the hotrod Avalon. As I look up in my rearview mirror, I see him laughing. About 10 seconds later he goes by me like I'm standing still.... I had to be that guy! We had a good laugh about it.

The hotrod Avalon is no slouch on HP, the big 'ole N/A 3.5 has 268HP and gets on down the road with no problems. It even has paddle shifters.
i grew up in bowie md, spent many nights racing up/down 50, V street and the metro station there...lol

I've only had my car a few days, but so far the only reckless attention it's gotten has been from other mustang drivers....

The last one had "Milf Hunter" written on his car in crayon (soap?) and flashed me the "hook em horns" sign. I guess YMMV in terms of experiences...
That’s the kind of stuff that makes me want to give up on Mustangs. You rarely if ever see tasteless kid stupid stuff posted on a Corvette or a Porsche. For some reason our Mustangs attract trash.

Maybe because Mustangs outsell Vetts and Porsche combined?

There are plenty of douchy kids driving both, percentage wise.

It’s a social economic thing
Mustang are cheap and have a macho image and therefore attract a special type of customers …not the PhD’s or CFO’s crowd
definitively a blue collar car save for a very few
Frankly the only reason I own a Mustang is because mine is 100% a track car

You all must make a lot more than I do bc I don’t consider a gt mustang cheap lol I mean maybe bc mines a premium but still, it was like 50k after everything. That ain’t cheap. Also, Camaros cost the same but where’s the stigma of them?
