It use to be for people who have a lot of expensive mods and thieves can find their home address from their plate and people who film themselves being a bad boy behind the wheel

So people on the net on the otherside of the country see you on line and track you down for parts they know you have from a picture? But the people that are thieves in your town won't follow you home?

They would need to do it over several days on a route I took regularly, each day only following for a mile and waiting there in another car the next day. During my extreme audio phase in the 80's. I watched very closely against being followed. LoL
