I have driven the current generation Charger, Mustang and obviously Camaro, but not the Challenger. I just said I like the look better, no idea how they handle relative to the Charger.
The Charger was a close second for me in my car search. It looked damn good on me but the Mustang stole my heart. I wanted to love the Camaro but too much about it I don't like. Challenger looks good but feels like grandpas old truck. Dodge is way more proud of their HP too. Out of the 4, the mustang feels like home.

I've owned 7 Camaros and only 1 Mustang('67 Fastback) before I bought my '19 GT/CS.

1977 Camaro- NEW - right out of High School
1983 Z-28 - NEW
1985 IROC - New
2-1969 SS396s - used (of course)-flipped both for good$$$
1991 Camaro RS -NEW
1995 Z28 - NEW
When the 2010s came out, I didn't fit well in it( 6' 300lbs- I've been a wide body before they invented wide body cars)
Went to the MotorTrend Car show in 2019, sat in a new 2020 LT1, still didn't fit
Walked around to the Ford Display and saw the GT/CS in Kona Blue- sat in it and I was SOLD
Found one in that color two days later and probably never look at another Camaro again!
Unless I lose 50+lbs...................

It's a great car. If I step up to a supercharged V8, which I may in the next few years, it will be either a GT500, or a ZLE. It'll really come down to price, with the ZLE having that edge right now.

I went through 4 cars in 1.5 years. The wife said if we were gonna get married I should stop switching cars so fast. And money, money kind of stopped me too. So now the deal is 100k miles before I get something new. Only 86k more to go on the mustang!
We all go through that phase, for me it was a GTI, VW Quantum, Audi 4000, then Audi 5000, and a Pontiac GTP (Turbo) in 4 years (86-90)...... At kid #3 in we added a Suburban for the wife, and I went back to a sports oriented car.

I settled down in an 86 Saab 900 Turbo and put 300K on it over 12 years. In 1999 I bought an E36 M3 and in 2006 the M3 was put on fair weather duty when I bought a Jeep Commander. I kept the M3 until 2020 when I bought the Bullitt.

I gave the Commander to my daughter in 2017 when I bought a Tundra TRD PRO. I plan to keep the Tundra and Mustang at least 15-20 years. Unless the green psyco tree huggers make them illegal......

These are all 'primary' drivers. Over the years I have had 10-15 various project fun/flip cars as well, and let's not talk about motorcycles.... lol

In all fairness, the VW/Audi phase was triggered by terrible reliability. I had the 4000 for 8 months, 5 of it was in the dealer, who felt so bad he let me even swap for the 5000. It was a bit better, but not by much. I bought the Pontiac new and it was completely trouble free for 100K miles when we traded it for the Suburban.

I just got back from Iraq as a civilian contractor with more money than I'd ever had. Bought a Raptor 6.2L (3500miles) '11 GT500 (3800 miles) '03 Jeep Wrangler and stopped on a '09 Mini JCW and modded the crap out of it till 100k miles. Came out okay from the Raptor and lost my ass on everything else. Basically 120k for a used Mini lol. Live and learn.

Obtaining one in Europe is a bit more difficult. (well as it turns out, it may have been faster as i waited 8months for mine)
Not gonna lie, i like the Camaros Front and Side Profile more, but the usability (trunk) of the Mustang and (probably) visibility made me pick that 4-cam Downsizing engine over that prehistoric 6.2 fossil. (even though it got larger since the 2000s :D )
Do i need that larger trunk? Mostly not. But do i need a V8 at all? No, but you could also survive without chocolate (at least in theory)

And to be fair, a Camaro (6th Gen) or Vette (7+ gen) are still on my bucket list, but probably a used one, maybe selling my 2010GT in for it in the far far future between next week and 2050.
