How about something subtle like this?
Just installed them yesterday but i am not sure if i like them. I'll give it some time to see if they grow on me.

I think this is proof that it can look good. I think the rear spoiler has a lot to do with it. Some spoilers make it look too smashed in, this one seems to work.

yeah, i think it would look good on the R with that big wing and maybe on the 2019's with the "swing" spoiler. The flush decklid spoilder hide it too much and make it look crowded.

The lettering looks good on the S197 generation but IMO not on the S550 version. The cars start looking way too busy adding letters and adding R to the fender logos etc. That's just me. I understand the "need to personalize" but everyone does the same thing and IMO its tacky. The factory design is clean and looks like it should. No offence intended to those who have done this, its your car do what makes you happy.

Now you could say the same about splitter lettering overlays which I have.

I can’t believe this can keeps getting kicked. It seems pretty unanimous to leave well enough alone. I couldn’t agree more. Ford Performance did it just right and tastefully so. Nothing gaudy or fake. IMHO, when you start considering putting lick’ em stick’em “stuff” on the S550 Shelby, it’s time to find another hobby fast before you ruin a perfectly fine vehicle.

Not taking a swipe but want to point out that the letters look of center the way they are positioned on the stripes. I am sure you are aware.
