I think I know why: it was to signal a change. That this is not what you THINK a speciality Mustang usually is...

Just goes to show how much of a 180 the FP group has done with this car.

Its so much cleaner looking without them.

I like how subtle some of the things are compared to the rest of the car. The small snake badges are just one of them. Lets the lines of the whole car do the talking instead of some oversized badges.

because Shelby has nothing to do with this car ?
I've been trying to find a way to take off the Shelby lettering off front splitter if I could.

Agreed, it is one of the things I really don’t like about Cadillac designs. The huge grill badges etc.

I wouldn't be able to stand a big embossing on the car like that. Those big deck lid letters and the bumper embossings/depressions saying things like "Mustang", "Shelby", "Roush", "Saleen", etc just remind me of tacky 90's flare.

Funny you mentioned that because I ran across this and I thought it looked pretty good. I probably wouldn't do it, but it looked clean and OEM.

Paired with the Track Pack spoiler, it doesn't look good (IMO) - the letters reflect back at you upside down.

Henry Ford isn't around anymore, either, but his name still appears on the cars ;)
He said Shelby had nothing to do with it - I took this as the Company - we know the man has been dead for a while - as a matter of fact, he died 6 years ago today!

We'll I personally prefer the cobra emblem, I thinks it looks cleaner.
