As far as you suggesting that me being a person with a well rounded background and experience with Ford products, if 50 years of owning the Blue Oval brand including all generations of Mustangs and working directly with many individuals at FP and Dearborn counts then I guess that might qualify me.
 to your background, experience, and service to the Blue Oval.

If in your mind you see this as an official win for yourself I am more than good with that as well and wish you good luck with your R model going forward.
If in your mind the Road Runner motor doesn't exist, then yes I will be happy to just claim the win and cease any further futile effort to change your mind.

Good luck to you and your stable of Mustangs going forward as well.

Congrats...I take it between Porsche and Mercedes, you're doing Porsche. Obviously, they will put you up in a nice place of their choosing, but if you have some free time, Motorworld and the V8 Hotel in Böblingen are worth a quick stop (20 minutes from Zuffenhausen). If you PM I may be able to help with local info when you're in the area. Either way, enjoy!

Thought about selling only so I could lock in an R. I really wish I could have gotten a base R in 16.
Where does the spartan interior come from? When I’m not driving the GT350, I drive a Land Rover LR3, or a 94 Lightning. I’d rather drive the GT350 but trying to keep the road rash/chips off the car.

It has a very comfy Recaro seat, a shifter and a steering wheel. What is it missing to make it a complete interior? It’s a great time to be a car guy with all these choices.

Let’s hope the late 70s/80s don’t repeat and take the fun out of cars.

But hey, I’d like to have a Mustang II King Cobra or another 84 SVO so maybe this is a skewed opinion.
Never thought I'd hear a King Cobra referenced in this forum. LOL. I have 2.

I'd agree that in some cases you're correct. In my case, I didn't get rid of mine because anything was wrong with it or any of your three reasons. I've always wanted a Ferrari and a Porsche. I already have the Porsche and the 812 Superfast will be delivered in late Spring. I only have four garage spaces and something had to go. For me it was the GT350. I loved the car, it had no flaws that were big enough to bother me. If I had one more garage space, the 350 would have stayed. It's a cool car and a bargain at that.
I'm in the same boat on garagespace..with the 500 on the way and some other daily (bronco/raptor/ranger) but I'll likely build a garage or rent space before separating with either of my 350s. I just enjoy them to much to part with and haven't found anything yet that's comparable. I'm taking a 3rd look at the NSX, we shall see.

I sold my GT350 to buy an R. I have recently been provided with an opportunity to buy a 991.1 2015 GT3. Drove the GT3 and afterwards it did not feel more special to me. It drives around very mundane vs the R. When I drive the R it always put a smile on my face. GT3 interior is exquisite, car is quick, overall is a beaut and one I've always wanted to own. Oddly enough while at the dealer with the R, it gathered quite a crowd. I was even requested to run the engine so they could hear it, asked how capable it was and of course about the CF wheels lol. I am still toying with the purchase of the GT3. But the #33 stays. Too special of a car to me to sell.
