Till you route your coolant line to your turbo and coolant feeds back to your oil pan and you fuck your shit up, lol. Happened to a buddy of mine, a lot more shit can go wrong with turbo kits, however, that isn't to say they aren't so difficult that people shouldn't get them.

I have 0 coolant lines on my turbos.

All depends on what brand you use and how much of that snake oil you buy from turbo salesman

I had 15 GT running 10.7 @ 141 with my procharger stage 2 D1SC and E85, boss intake, MAK cat deletes, (14-15lbs of boost) 6r80

My 19 GT running 10.3 @ 140 with hellion sleeper kit and E85 (7lbs of boost) 10R80
i rest my case. Turbos consistently make more power. Just don’t route your coolant line to your oil pan and blame the turbo company

you centrifugal guys put your cars on cinder blocks for the winter yet? Heard def leopard might go on tour this year

What kind of times does your turbo car put down?

I have had all 3 types of forced induction setups. I enjoyed all of them but there is nothing like the turbo "wow" factor to me. The sound, feel, more power of the push of a button, and HELL, I love the look on people's face when I tell them/they find out I have twin turbos I always would of preferred to go the turbo avenue but the cost was always too high for me. With the price of the Hellion sleeper kit, It was a no brainer.

I had a C5z that had a novi2000 kit on it making around 850 wheel. Car was great but kept shredding the belt. One day the belt ripped and took the drain line out with it - even ripped the bung from the oil pan. Took the SC kit off the next week and put on HP TT kit.

He probably got an airaid Intake, resonator delete and bama tune. I like how he “rests his case” when in reality neither times were all that. Lol

Turbos do make more power, but that is an apples to oranges comparison. Different compression, different head flow, different motors, different transmissions.

From a horsepower standpoint, 141 is higher than 140. The ets May not be indicative of HP. As MadCow said, different numerous things apples to oranges.

The D1 is making some steam! As is the turbo car.

So what was the original question?

Oh yea... supercharger vs turbo... Crap! Did they ask WHICH supercharger or WHAT turbo set up? There’s still more to debate!

I’m pretty sure everyone here can agree that any boost is better than no boost... and ALL of the options have the capability to make your engine go boom!

I learned a long time ago that there’s always someone faster... Be happy with what you have. And if you’re not happy, get something that will make you happy. Hence, that’s why there are people on the board here that have changed one way to the other or different kits in the same category.

The question has always been “how fast do you want to go” and quickly followed by “how much money do you have”.
