This isn't for me. I'm trying to help a friend out. He put a procharger on his 5.0 and the guy who he brought the car to, to get tuned never tuned a boosted 15 or even a NA 15 motor. I tired to tell him not to use the guy and to use someone different. But he didn't listen. Well after one of his pistons cracked he took the Procharger off and it went to Ford to get looked at. Don't know how my friend does it but got a motor warrantied and replaced. But now he wants to put the Procharger back on.

So I am trying to find someone I can steer him to and help him out this time around. His car made 9 psi and 670 on 93. The Tuner also said that any boost over 8 psi that he needs to change to Long tube headers. I don't believe that one more pound of boost is going to need a change of headers.

We can set anyone up with a Lund tune for their Procharged set-up. You will need to have the supporting mods (depending on how much boost/power you plan on running) for him to be able to tune the set-up properly, so be sure to contact us to make sure you have the proper equipment.

We also have packages available with several Procharged set-up's that include tuning from Lund and come standard with all needed equipment to be tuned properly.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact us!

Most reputable shops that have a Dyno and dedicated tuner do their own tuning.
(There are at least (2) places here in KC that do their own Ford Tuning as example)

However, if your looking for remote there are a few out there.

Sounds like his main issue was going to a guy that had never done one before.
Thats a steep learning curve for a first time. NEVER be the learning curve.

We have recently been getting sent some data logs to look over, that were not quality.
Fuel trims all over the place, spark tables all over the map, and throttle not mapped right. If your car runs weird, get it squared away with your tuner before beating on it.

670 on 9psi sounds like he was running a shitload of timing.

Wow, lots-o-timing, lean-is-mean.

If that power number is right, vs. the boost number.
Its key to why that mo-mo when boom.

If you feel your power numbers are to good to be true, they likely are. ;)

I think custom tune is the way to go i took mine to dgr performance. They have a very good reputation, it was his first forced induction 15, but someone has to be first.

You can't go wrong with Lund... 670 at 9 psi? Doesn't add up
