Not mine but a good friend has one... ESS G3 tuned by Wengerd. 10R80 car, Stainless Works catted headers into a Steeda H pipe and factory mufflers. It is really spicy, and has a nice whistle and BOV sound if you rev it like a turbo... Good friend of mine at Wicked Performance here in East TN did the install. Very nice setup..

i use ess on 120 pulley for street and 100 pulley for 1/4 on e85

Whipple is not very comfortable for street, but ess starts flow after 3000 rpm

with ess i got good results = 4,41s 100-200km/h and 9.7s 1/4

Thinking about ESS despite having a manual. It was always a dream to have ESS on my E46 M3 but since I never made that happen, I want to give it a try on the mach 1.

Thinking the same for my Mach 1 but don't know If I'd be chasing the vehicle's weak links to survive 20 minute track sessions. Anyone out there successfully tracking their relatively stock but boosted three-pedal Mach 1's?

I have the same question... I do at least a few track days and autocrosses each year, but love the idea of HP and boost. Not for parking lots and friday nights, def not for doing the best burnouts on the street. For real use purposes. Like tracks.

Procharged here. I was going to install it myself, but they made me a great offer, so the kind people at Procharger did the install and tune. As for function...it's fun as fuck. Does that count? haha

I've got an ESS on my short list.... Eventually. After seeing Rickey's done I have a hankering to have it done. His is a 10 speed and is NASTY BUT, I am like you, I know there will be weak links at that point. Definitely will hit up Wicked Performance at that point

Lenaxa Kansas. I shipped it there because I have their first Carb legal Mach 1. They wanted to get fitment and tune done so they can sell their kits. I was going to do the install myself but they made me a deal I couldn’t refuse.
