If you have a V6 in your S550 buy a 3.5 ecoboost motor or just turbocharge your cyclone.

The V6 is a very very capable motor and people who tune coyotes will be able to tune it.

You can pick up a used 3.5 ecoboost for like 2k right now. Because people havent caught on to how awesome these engines are. Slap some bigger turbos and injectors on it will make power and handle

How can anyone want a heavy boat anchor that makes less hp and tq than a 3.5 ecoboost? LOL in stock form this engine isnt impressive at all.
This engine does not make sense in a s550, but in a foxbody this swap will be popular real soon.

Doesnt Make sense in a fox body either...

Which car will be faster for 20k?
A coyote swap or a 7.3?

You have all the parts, documentation already for the coyote, and tuners have config files. 7.3l you have nothing.

What transmission are you going to use with that engine? What clutch or torque converter? What control system, what mounts? How you gonna get it to fit. What spring rates. By the time you figure out all that the guy who coyote swapped would have had 1 year of gapping fools and running 10s. And about to put on a blower to run 8s...

Are you kidding? That 7.3L in a foxbody is going to destroy any coyote in the 1/4 mile.....for a fraction of the price. Seriously, 600hp can be had with a cam, intake and tune. $700 worth of parts.

Did you not see the video where it drops right in a foxbody with a k-member swap...easily?

And for the folks that still think this is a boat anchor, it's 100lbs heavier than the coyote. That's nothing....especially when you have enough power to lift the front end off the ground. Hell, for some folks it's actually beneficial.

Parts for this engine are coming...very soon. Cam's will be cheap as will intakes. And with some port work, these engines will be cranking out 700hp....with factory internals, no forced induction necessary.

your starting from behind the 8 ball... That's the point.

You're going to spend 15-20k just getting that engine in the car. So you'll have 430hp and a boat anchor. For 20k.

Then you will need significantly more power to out run the coyote powered car. To overcome the weight disadvantage.

You'll need about 600hp to outrun a 435 hp coyote car.... Lol

And your smoking some crack to think that motor will produce 700hp all motor on "factory internals" the math doesnt work... Cams alone will not net 300hp more like 40hp at best

Maybe 50 on a dynojet lol and ot will drive like garbage

Your gonna waste 20k to get gapped. but it will "sound awesome" Also cams Will not be cheap this isnt the 90s or 60s parts are going to be expensive

Relax, don't be so negative. I can tell you are not a hot rodder. A buyer if you will. People do stuff cause they like it, not cause it make sense to. It is what it is.

That REVen Evan feller hosted up a video on their Godzilla build,,, With a custom intake and cams it made 585hp on an engine dyno.

900hp is probably doable with this engine but like you sed,, it wont be cheap ...

ROUSH made 800+hp with the old 6.2l in an all out drag motor build.

It's going to be very popular real soon in the foxbody world. Swap kits already being made. Bellhousings likely soon to follow. This engine in stock form with boost and a th400 will be a badass setup in a fox.

Ifit wasn't so damn expensive I'd consider swapping out my 460 stroker for one in my big bronco.

What's the price?
As of right nowsomething like 60,000 bucks if you aren't some hot rod shop. But once they make it available to just straight up buy, 12kish

So zero relevance in an S550. I'd agree.
